An Exhibition to honour a Russian ocean rower Eugene Smurgis, who was lost at sea in the Gulf of Biscay in November 1993,  has been opened in La Tremblade (France)

 London November 5th 2003.
Today I recieved an email from Teresa Page announcing that Sir Chay had sold, to Woodvale Events, his interst in Ocean Rowing races with immidiate effect.
ORS takes this chance to regonize the contribution of Sir Chay to Ocean Rowing. including his 91 day ocean row in 1966 with John Ridgway and for establishing the first Ocean Rowing races for doubles. ORS wishes Sir Chay good luck in his future sea ventures.
