| Getting ready for his second departure to row Eastwards from Bluff, New Zealand to Cape Town, South Africa, around Cape Horn, South America. Departed at 00.40GMT October 17th (12:40pm local time), from the yacht club boat ramp Bluff harbour, New Zealand then, October 18th, called for tow back to shore to sort out a few problems. At 16:09:36 GMT July 26 2003 Emmanuel Coindre departed from Chatham, USA. His plan was to set a new record by crossing Northern Atlantic again.Rescued about 100 miles east of Chatham 15.50GMT July 28th. The search for "Lady Bird" went on for three weeks. Found off Nova Scotia. More details >>> |
