The youngest person to row on the Southern Ocean is Colin Timothy O’Brady (USA, b.16 March 1985), who was 34 yrs 272 days old at the start of his row in a team of six Impossible Row across the Drake Passage from Cape Horn to Antarctica on December 13, 2019.
 
Fiann Paul, captain
Fiann Paul has become the first ocean rower to complete the quest of the Ocean Explorers Grand Slam - completing open-water crossings on each of the five oceans using human-powered vessels. Ocean Explorers Grand Slam is open to all human-powered vessels. Ocean Explorers Grand Slam achievement has been confirmed by Guinness World Records
