'My week with Gabor in Gran Canaria was brilliant -  the unrivalled opportunity to learn from a seasoned sailor and ocean rower by living onboard. I would recommend it to anyone planning an ocean row. He taught me more than I could have imagined possible in a week - we deployed the sea anchor, scrubbed barnacles off the hull, rowed in  all sorts of conditions by night and by day, so I left feeling that I had a real sense of what it is to be your own engine, self sufficient and cacooned in a tiny boat - albeit this was only for a week!'
